On Sunday my family went to Snowplanet. We went to see Santa. He asked us what we wanted for Christmas - my sister said a bed and I said I don’t know. Later we went to take some pictures with him, then he took us to his cold campfire and gave us a lollipop.

Our mum said “Let’s go tubing.”

We all went down the same path. My sister wanted to go down the tubing path again so I took her down.

After a while we got some hot chocolate. We left after we got our pictures.  

My Genius Hour Project- How I'm Doing

I have finished my project and have presented my work at first I was nervous. But when I started to present I became confident and I got loads of questions. I got help from my friend Logan who held my mobile.

Christmas

On Christmas my whole family is going to come over to our house where going to have BBQ's, songs, party's and fun games. What I love Most about Christmas is the presents.

My School Holiady

On Saturday I went to the airport to pick my uncle he came from Sydney. We a had BBQ chicken,kebabs and cheese burgers.He got me and my sister a present I got a magic UFO which doesn't need battery or air. My sister got a barbie doll. He left on Sunday two weeks ago.

My Special Person

This person is the cutest person and nicest person I know. She has soft pearly soft skin.Her hair is dark,shiny black. Her two braids are like pony tails. When she wears her school uniform,it looks too big for her,but it’s always very clean.

This person speaks fast but softly. She moves fast and actively. No matter how much she eats, she’s always hungry.

This person tries involving people in any activity. She always uses her manners when she wants or asks for something. Whenever somebody gets sad she turns her frowns upside down.

Bang went the starter blocks like thunderous bolts of lightning. The race was on! All of the year 4 boys ran. I had butterflies in my stomach.

It was my second lap. I was getting tired, my legs were malfunctioning. It was almost the end. I had reached the last lap.

I was on my last lap now. I saw the finish line. The parents and younger (year 1-3) runners cheered for us. The finish line was up to five meters away. I sprinted with a little boost and finally I reached the end.

Moon Report

What is the Moon ?

The Moon is not a planet not a star but a satellite also an object that orbits a bigger object.

The Sun,Earth and Moon are all made of lava. But the lava on the Moon is all dried out. The whole Sun is just made of lava and fire.

The Moon orbits the Earth. The Earth orbits the Sun. The Moon does not make it’s own light it reflects the light of the Sun. It’s takes up to twentyseven days for a full Moon to form the phase are :Full Moon,Gibbous,Quarter and crescent.

Day and Night happens cause of the Moon and Sun. Half of the Earth is day because the Sun is shining on one half the Earth. The other half of the Earth is night because the Moon cover s it.

Craters are created from asteroids that in to the Moon. The Moon has lots of craters. In one year up to 1,000 asteroids crash on the Moon.

In hobsonville primary school we have littering and that makes landfills and if we don’t stop then nature will be extinct. What will we do?How do we stop it?

Well for starters you could start sorting your rubbish for recycle. You could use it for art or use card board boxes,mark them like:recycling,cardboard paper and bottles re-using your rubbish e.g. you could also start using newspaper for art.

My other idea is to take the rubbish and instead of putting it in your bin you could take to your home and reuse it to stop it from going to landfills.

I went bowling in the holidays. The ball was heavy. I won one hundred and fifty tickets! I got a Styrofoam plane and a small orange ball. My sister got colouring crayons, a rubber, and a sharpener.
